1. Audacity

Our original Bach recording stays at the top of the interface, while our new recording gets added below it. By default, Audacity will not overwrite your previous recording. Instead, it isolates both soundstreams, or tracks, allowing us to manipulate separate components before we mix them together in a final recording. We can make changes to one without affecting the other. Note how, time-wise, the new track by default was recorded at the beginning of the audacity project. For right now, the Bach and vocal tracks both begin at the same time. There are potentially some other imperfections in your unique recording, some of which we can fix.

1. Audacity

I have recently purchased the rode nt1 and have tried to use it on Audacity. But when i press record nothing happens. I have tried specific settings on audacity recommended by some youtube videos but still no good. The mic is working fine on other software seems to be a problem with Audacity

Do you have a google account? An amazon account? An apple account? A microsoft account? Do you use discord/reddit/facebook/instagram/tiktok? Do you have a government ID? Do you use a cell phone? Do you use mac or windows? Any of those are far more egregious invasions of privacy than little old audacity.

Comments in AUR page for audacity-wxgtk2 suggest there may be a problem with conan build tool if it has not been rebuilt following python update from v3.9 v3.10When Python has its annual update, how to re-install your own packages

I will continue in the search, but I will inform you that the audacity of the community repo, still has the problem with the shortcut keys Ctrl+Shift+I, which I already mentioned right here in this forum

Depending on the conditioning of our recording room and the type of microphone we're using, where we place our microphone can have an impact on the quality of our initial audio. For example, audio reflections tend to converge at or near the center of a room, especially in a poorly treated space or an untreated space. Bass tones like to hang out in the corners of a room and those reflections can get back into our mic and become a problem.
